Leaf by Oscar cigars represent perhaps one of the most exciting developments in premium cigar smoking to come along in quite a while. Developed by Oscar Valladares at his boutique factory in Danli,Hondurus, each LEAF cigar represents a deep connection between the land on which tobaccos were grown and all of the people who contributed to its production. Even the bands are made by a company local to the factory using organic agave to craft the paper . Instead of cellophane, the torcedors have laid each stick inside of a leaf of tobacco for aging and protection.

In May 2003, Jose Pepin Garcia and his family opened a small cigar factory in
Little Havana and began to manufacture their own cigar lines. The Don Pepin
Garcia line was one of the earliest hits blended the by master cigar maker &
debuted five years before the My Father brand was launched. To celebrate
their 20th anniversary, the Garcia family brings you the Don Pepin Garcia 20th
Anniversary Limited Edition 2023.
The 20th Anniversary is a 6 1/2 x 52 Toro that is aged to perfection and features
an exclusive blend drawn from the finest and rarest tobaccos grown and aged
by the Garcia family. An Oscuro wrapper, grown in Nicaragua, cradles select
Nicaraguan long-filler tobaccos, including Pelo de Oro tobacco, grown from a
special seed varietal that the Garcia’s reserve for their rarest cigars. Succulent
notes of cedar, leather and coffee bean accompany Pepin’s ultra smooth
signature spice from the first puff to the last.
These commemorative cigars are presented in individually numbered boxes of 20, with a limited one off run of 5,000 boxes with only 1,000 boxes available outside of the US.

In 2023 My Father Cigars celebrated their 20th anniversary of the Don Pepin Garcia brand, and in doing so, the company not only released some high-end cigars but also revisited one of the first cigars to be released by Jose ‘Don Pepin’ Garcia, Vegas Cubanas, or ‘VC’ as it will be called in the UK to avoid Trade Infringement.
The VC was originally introduced when Garcia’s lone factory was El Rey de los Habanos in Miami and before My Father was a term that referenced a cigar company. That launch dates back to approximately 2003, though in the years following that release, the line was largely phased out.
In 2023 the line received a complete rework both in terms of its blend and its packaging.
The most notable change is new bands and packaging that bring it in line with the aesthetic of the other cigars released under the Don Pepin Garcia brand.
As for the blend, it is mild and flavourful, a Nicaraguan puro with a Corojo Rosado wrapper.
The VC is produced at the My Father Cigars factory in Esteli, Nicaragua.

Since the introduction of the My Father brand in 2008, the Garcia Family seem to come up with hit blend after hit blend. After a lengthy wait for international availability, we are delighted to launch two vitolas from the My Father The Judge range. Originally released at the end of 2016, the My Father The Judge Grand Robusto was named Cigar Journal No1 Cigar of the Year 2017 and has just been named as Cigar Aficionado Cigar of the Year for 2024 with a rating of 98.
The Judge features three different Nicaraguan fillers, all grown on Garcia family farms as well as Corojo and Criollo binders and finished with an Ecuadorian Sumatran wrapper. This full bodied cigar starts off slightly salty, with interesting woody and almond tones. It is unbelieveably smooth, nutty, delicately acidic and develops subtle notes of anise, coffee and bread in the very creamy smoke texture.

Originally released to celebrate Perdomo’s 10th Anniversary, the range was expanded to to include the Reserve 10th Anniversary Maduro. This cigar is a Nicaraguan puro blended with a dark, oily six year old Cuban seed Nicarguan wrapper that has been bourbon barrel aged for an additional 14 months and is paired with six year old Cuban seed Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. In 2021 the Reserve 10th Anniversary Maduro Epicure was named Cigar of the Year by Cigar Journal.
This box pressed medium to full cigar has naturally sweet flavours of cocao, espresso, caramel and pepper that produces a smooth and soft smoke.

For the Alma Fuerte, a team of five blenders, including Plasencia, Sr. and Jr., worked to create the cigar from 100% Nicaraguan tobaccos. The blend focuses around the family’s Criollo ’98 seed, using tobaccos from each of the major growing regions of Nicaragua (Condega, Estelí, Jalapa, and Ometepe). In addition, the Plasencia are using some of their rarest and most premium-grade leaves from their vast tobacco inventories.
The latest addition to this line, the Sixto I is a new option for those who enjoy this luxurious smoke but don’t want the full intensity, the Sixto I is like a Cappuccino compared to the Sixto II which is more like an espresso.
The blend has been slightly tweaked for the Sixto I and an different wrapper finishes this cigar which is a Colorado Claro which takes away some of the intensity.

Conviction’s wrapper is a testament to the legendary Terciario Cuban method, meticulously crafted from the oldest and oiliest San Andrés tobacco. THE ROLLERS
In pursuit of perfection, only the top four master rollers in the factory have been entrusted with the Conviction. Working in pairs, each set of these master rollers is limited to rolling 250 cigars per day, resulting in a total of only 500 Conviction Cigars being rolled daily. This deliberate restriction ensures that each cigar receives the utmost attention and care, as the artisans dedicate their expertise and craftsmanship to creating a limited quantity of exceptional cigars.
